Does anyone have any experience with these tools and could recommend the best one for sight-reading specifically? I found recommendations for eMedia Piano and Keyboard Method on Steam and Piano Marvel, the latter of which seems to have fake reviews. I have a keyboard controller connected to my PC at home and I have been looking for some tools to help me learn sight-reading. I can't force my mind to do it for more than a minute. I can't even explain it well, but having only 30 seconds to read the piece and not being able to stop after making a mistake makes something snap in my head. Not only that, but sight-reading brings me immense psychological distress. I can play a Beethoven sonata relying on finger memory, but I am incapable of sight-reading a simple level 1 fragment of music without mistakes. In that process, I discovered that I am completely incapable of sight-reading and that it may really be holding me back. I decided to start studying for ABRSM tests (I like having goals and guidance). I've been self teaching a few music pieces and music theory.
